Mung Beans Pancake(Moong Dal Dosa or Hesaru Bele Dose)
Preparation Time - 4-6 hrs for soaking
Cook Time - 15 mins
Measurements & Ingredients:
Make a smooth batter by grinding soaked mung beans(moong dal), ginger, green chillies, dry coconut flakes, cumin, rice flour, salt and water as per needed.

- Mung Beans(split) - 1 cup, washed & soaked in water for 4-6 hrs
- Ginger - 1/2 inch piece
- Green chillies - 3-4
- Cilantro - a few sprigs
- Dry coconut flakes or powder - 5 tbspns
- Rice flour - 3 tbspns
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tspn
- Salt - as per taste
Make a smooth batter by grinding soaked mung beans(moong dal), ginger, green chillies, dry coconut flakes, cumin, rice flour, salt and water as per needed.
Add the chopped cilantro and mix the batter.
Serve it with chutney powder or your favorite pickle!
Note:
- This dosa will be a little thick when compared to regular dosa.
- By adding the rice flour to the blender, there will be no lumps formed in the batter.
