Spicy Chili Paneer

This is a very easy and tasty curry.  If you are in a hurry and you have the following ingredients at home, you can have a wonderful dish in no time!

Preparation Time: 10 mins
Cooking Time:10 mins

Measurements & Ingredients:

  • Green Bell Pepper (green capsicum)- 2 small size, cut into cube shape
  • Red Bell Pepper - 1 Big size, cut into cube shape.
  • Yellow Bell Pepper - 1 medium size, cut into cube shape
  • Paneer - 8 oz, cut into small cubes
  • Red Onion - 1 big, cut into cube shape
  • Green Chillies - 3-4 depending on the spice level
  • Oil - 7 - 8 tspns
  • Grated Ginger - 1/2 tspn
  • Soya Sauce - 3 tspns
  • Red Chili Sauce(I use SriRacha or anyother will do) - 3 tspns or depending on your spice level
  • Tomato Ketchup - 2-3 tspns
  • Salt - just a pinch

Method:

Mix the sauces and ketchup in a bowl and keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan and to this add green chillies and grated ginger.  To this add onions and fry on medium flame until they turn pink.
Now add all the bell peppers and fry for 1-2 mins.  After this
add the paneer cubes, mix well and leave it for another 2
mins on medium flame.

Then add the sauce mixture and just a pinch of salt, as the
sauces already have salt in them.  Mix it well and leave to
cook for 4-5 mins and transfer it to a serving bowl.

Do not cook the bell pepper until it is fully done.  It has to just be cooked enough to maintain its crispiness.  The whole dish will spoil if you overcook the bell pepper.

Enjoy this with Roti/chapathis!

No much ingredients?  Don't worry...
If you do not have the colour bell peppers or the chilli sauce, do not worry.  Excluding these, follow the same procedure with extra green chillies instead of chilli sauce and you will still get a tasty curry!
